KO is her name
You may ask yourself, 'what makes Pomona such a swanky place?'. The answer is KO. Her amazing skills include identifying dog breeds. She speaks with a voice and diction worthy of rich narrative texts. Eating frozen yogurt is a morning habit. Within the first minute of describing to you her Pomona experience thus far, it is likely she will mention having met her life's parallel soulmate, Maggie from Colorado, because for example, both of their brother's best freind's names are woody. KO has read a whole bundle of good books. Some of them, we've both read. We make trips to the bookstore, library, and the bike shop together on occasion. Once we even met Robsong in the tibetan store in Claremont together, where I purchased incense that smells like barbeque. Our exciting adventure plans for the future include at least one train ride into Los Angeles, excursions about campus to tour the other dorm buildings, and more homework sessions together. Today I tried to help KO hang a lantern in her room and instead of being the grateful recipient of my good samaritanea, she took revealing pictures of me in akward positions while I attached hooks to her ceiling. Also, today I discovered that we share a similar preference in leg razors (Gillette Venus). KO and I will remain good friends until January when I leave for second semester, when she will forget my name, so I only have to fake enjoying her company another couple of months.
Next post I'll tell you about my friend Bill...
